NOVOMATIC reaffirmed its commitment to the institutional strengthening of the sector in Latin America

The event, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) and promoted by the Directorate General of Casino Games and Slot Machines of Peru, brought together over 120 attendees, including regulators, authorities, private sector representatives, and delegations from ten Ibero-American countries. The objective is to continue promoting a regulated, sustainable industry aligned with today's regional challenges.

During the sessions, key topics were addressed regarding the regulatory and operational development of the industry:

  • The regulatory harmonization of online gaming in Latin America
  • The application of artificial intelligence for auditing and player protection.
  • Traceability, oversight, and institutional strengthening of regulatory bodies.
  • Traceability, oversight and institutional strengthening of regulatory agencies

Representing the company, José Casapía Bardales, Institutional Relations Manager of NOVOMATIC Peru, emphasized: "Our participation in this Summit reaffirms NOVOMATIC's commitment to the institutional development of the sector in Peru. It is essential to support these spaces for technical dialogue with active presence, close collaboration with regulators, and a permanent willingness to contribute to the construction of more robust and sustainable regulatory frameworks."

For its part, Max Bauer, Vice President for Latin America and the Caribbean, offered a strategic view on the role of the private sector: "In a world driven by technological advances that challenge the very structures of our societies, spaces for exchange where purposes become decisions—and decisions become action—are essential. At NOVOMATIC, we believe in supporting processes that integrate regulation, sustainability, and innovation with a regional perspective and a shared vision for the future. Because leadership in this industry is not just about responding to the present, but about responsibly building a legacy that transcends us."

NOVOMATIC's presence at this kind of Summit reaffirms its role as a technology provider and strategic ally to governments, actively contributing to the regulatory, operational, and technical evolution of the gaming ecosystem.
